The Philadelphia LARP Society is an innovative immersive experience and LARP company founded and owned by Raquel Skellington, a visionary Black woman entrepreneur- and Sammy Stone, a trans and nonbinary designer and writer. Philadelphia LARP Society specializes in creating accessible, interactive storytelling experiences that blend elements of theater, role-playing, and social exploration.

With a focus on diversity and inclusion, Raquel and Sammy have built the Philadelphia LARP Society to offer unique LARPs that allow anyone to live their fantasy. The PLS stands out for its commitment to creating welcoming spaces for players of all backgrounds, while pushing the boundaries of interactive storytelling.

​Raquel Skellington (she/her) is a standout name in the live-action role-playing (LARP) scene, celebrated as the world’s first "Professional LARPer." As the driving force behind The Philadelphia LARP Society, Raquel is all about making LARP more inclusive and creating unforgettable adventures for everyone! Her YouTube channel is a go-to spot for both newcomers and seasoned LARPers, offering insights and tips to level up their game.

With 15 years of experience in immersive design, Sammy Stone (they/them) is a leading figure in the LARP community and one of the most influential trans (nonbinary) producers in the United States. Sammy is a core founder of the "Emergent LARP" movement, which blends traditional American LARP with Nordic design principles. Their groundbreaking work includes co-founding and operating DrachenFest US, America’s largest LARP event, alongside a team of industry experts.

Nathan (He/Him) Is an Innovative LARP team lead and entrepreneur with extensive experience in emergent live-action role-playing games, including being a core team member at the first ones to hit the market. He has a proven track record in developing immersive narratives and engaging gameplay mechanics. He is currently the founder of Playsmith, a dedicated LARP equipment rental company, providing high-quality gear and resources to enhance the LARP experience.
